The William Leech Research Fund has been delighted to fund this research, which addresses its aims of engaging with people and churches in the North East, developing understanding and reflection on issues that matter to them, and creating wider impact. We particularly value the space and opportunity that Ruth’s research has given for the respondents’ voices and experiences to be shared with the wider Church, and thank all those involved in bringing this project to fruition. We have already begun to see widespread interest in Ruth’s research findings where they have been presented so far, and through this, we can see the research’s significant potential for prompting further reflection on the diverse issues facing millennial Christians, as well as related church responses. In supporting this research, as with all the research we fund, we recognise this report as the author’s work and responsibility, without necessarily implying the Research Fund’s agreement with everything in the related publications. We hope it adds new insights and evidence to support theological reflection and churches’ actions in the North East region and beyond. We also encourage readers to find out more about the wider range of research supported by the William Leech Research Fund, discover related publications and resources, and find out more about future funding opportunities, via our website: leechresearchfund.org.
